If you have access to a machine shop you can craft your own. The plans for the original are on the interwebz.

$2000 is very reasonable considering you are getting 2 cases and a desk out of it. Not to mention pre-drilled for all your WC components.The desk is made with high quality steel/aircraft grade aluminum, not some cheap Walmart particle board.

Also I doubt you could lift the desk by yourself. Its not going to be light when fully assembled.

I am not bashing the quality of the desk, not a bit. I just personally wouldn't drop $2K on it, as my NZXT Phantom is just going to have to do.
