meh, all six cores of a 1100t should do those speeds pretty easy....

if you want speed, with 2 cores disabled ... go for 4.2 - 4.3 ... I know my chip will pull off 4.3 with 4 cores with less heat than 6 cores clocked at 4ghz...

(first post) I'm gonna be posting my validation soon. Right now I have the motherboard auto-overclocking my 1100t, and from what I've seen in this thread, it's doing a sloppy job about it, so I'll be manually oc'ing it asap. Here's a screenshot with the current settings:

Prepared to get flags of messages coming in telling you it's to high, Managed to get mine to 71C for an hour without loseing stability.

Yeah, living in South Texas sucks for temps. That, and I still need to install my new heatsink...the one I was using there is pretty old.

Well I don't have one in front of me at the moment,it's currently powering my mother-in-laws PC. Last time I had it,I managed this with a Zalman 9900MAX CPU cooler,never went above 55c.Of course it was about 17c in the room at the time biggrin.gif
