Hi there!

I keep my 1100t at 3.8ghz as a daily OC. 4.2 is the max I've reached.

As to voltages and so on, mine has a definite sweet spot at 3.8 where it is rock stable at just 1.32 - 1.33v (VID 1.275v) under load which is just stunningly low if you ask me. Then past that point the thing munches volts like doritos. 1.46v for 4ghz and well over 1.5v for 4.2ghz.

If you're really interested...you could try disabling one core and see how easily you can reach 4ghz+ like that.

The 1100T is like a workstation-type CPU with its hexa-core layout, and runs multitasking/core-intensive applications very well. The only problem with OC'ing in this layout is that you must make sure that all cores are stable, which can lead to OC limits of 4.5 GHz for most people in the 1.4-1.5V range. You can get higher clocks with a VCore of 1.5+, but this is generally regarded as unsafe for a 24/7 OC.
Disable two of the 1100T's cores, and the CPU becomes more of a gaming-type CPU. You can also overclock to higher stable clocks as well.

Well, disabled two cores and got it to 4.3, but after that one core keeps failing.

Whats worse is that this is the first core which I can't disable in bios. Tried everything from 1.45v to 1.57v and it's just that one core that can't handle it.... Is there any way around this wich would let me disable the first core?
