Quick quistion about cables, psu and tj11

Hi all, this is actually some quistions to anyone who has the ax1200 from corsair or anyone that has a tj11. I wan't to sleeve my ax1200's cables, but getting a white sleeving kit here is a !@#$, so I found a place where I can buy NZXT pre-sleeved cables for vga and motherboard. Now corsair says you should only use the cables they supplied, but I wan't to know if I can use other cables from NZXT, more precise, if I can use NZXT's 6pin to 6+2 pin sleeved cables in a corsair ax1200 modular psu. And also if I can use NZXT's motherboard sleeved cables aswell? Without out it like blowing up or something...

Secondly, where is the best mounting spot for the reservoir in a silverstone tj11? I saw some super nice builds here, where they made custom plate fitting things, and I wanted to mail the owners, but thought it might look stupid to mail them directly. So please anyone that has a tj11 or experiance with it modding wise, please help me with detailed info or pics. Or if you don't have the tj11 or ax1200 but you know the answers to what I am asking, please reply, otherwise this will just be empty and look kinda stupid biggrin.gif

And then if it's possable to fit a 360rad with a 480rad in the same spot as the ax1200.?

(I am verry new to this, so please understand that I am still learning, and forgive any dumb quistions)

Thank You.

You can use NZXT's sleeved extensions with any power supply. You're still using Corsair's cables from the PSU originally, you are just adding an extension to them, which changes essentially nothing, electrically.

The 480 and 360 rad will fit on the bottom with the AX1200 but you will have very little room. At most you will have to bend the cable between the connector and wires, though it's manageable. A tip I can give you on that is to set up your 480 rad first, the PSU next and lastly the 360. As for reservoir, I keep mine in my 5.25 bay spot.

Thank you, but I thought I remove the standard corsair cables, and insert the new nzxt ones, because it's all modular. Will it still work?
