Manages to pay for all my gasoline, so its worth it to me to take one evening a week to do. I've only ever gotten 2 tickets for it, and thats only when I have my pickup overloaded with scrap metal and clearly look like I'm a trash picker thumb.gif

Haha, nice find, reminds me of the HP dc7900 I rescued from the garbage last month. It also had a q8400 in it, but the rest was just OEM HP stuff, so I sold it for $250, turned around and found an i7 860, 4gb ram, gigabyte p55 board, and ati card on fleabay for $215, so it's like I traded the pc I rescued for my i7 860 rig I have now wink.gif Nice little rig that I essential got paid $30 to build.

Just gotta make sure to beat the scrap men that do it everyday to get any good stuff thumb.gif

Although most of them around here only go for Aluminium / copper and motors to take to the local scrap yard. Washers as a whole are $50 there, break them down and you can usually squeeze $75-$80 for them depending on the type and how much copper is in them.

Just if you see **** on the side of the road, or dump stuff in an apartment complex dumpster, take a quick peek.

Never know what you find. This is my fifth PC I found, and the best so far.

The other 4 went together to make two good ones and some spare parts. Sold em for 250 each.

Kinda cool. I was given a PC today. AMD skta A 3200, 2x1 GB DDR1, low profile nvidia 6200LE, brand new 500GB WD Caviar Blue, decent little machine. But your find is excellent!
