I don't think you should be rewarded for having buyer's remorse...

Regardless of what they advertised there WERE different endings and your overall choices did influence the endings...

Yes, they could have done a better job but, in no way does that warrant a full refund and/or being rewarded for returning a product.

1) They were copy pasted endings. Identical explosions, but with different colors. In two of the endings, Shepard dies in exactly the same way.
2) Your overall choices did not influence the endings, they influenced who lived at the end.
3) I purchased a product that was marketed as something it wasn't. Not only was it false advertising, but I am displeased with something I have purchased. I have the right to return said product.

3) No, this is wrong -- You purchased a GAME that was exactly as advertised...You don't deserve a refund based on buyer's remorse...

It's like buying a Ferrari, you bought the car but, in the commercials it said the card could float in space -- Can it? Yes...Is it currently in space? No -- Does that give you the right to return it for a FULL refund after you've driven it for a week? Absolutely not.

Happy endings isn't what people are whining about. There's continuity errors, plot holes, and whole new concepts and space magic that's introduce in the last 10 minutes of the game that isn't even explained, with no closure whatsoever also.

When people are tempted to purchase Bioware games, just remember what they did with Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 since EA purchased them. Every single one of their IP's have been turned to trash by EA.

Maybe developers might now stop making sequels to games, finish the story in a big game rather than parts and move on to something else, this would stop there being a need for fans who are never happy in the end.

I should know I'm a fan of many things and I'm miserable tongue.gif

I cant even play the game anymore since it doesnt even open via Origins lol, when it did work I was playing ME3 over BF3 hands down every single time. I found the endings to be realistic, its astounding as a character to have done what he does but to expect to carry that through to the conclusion is naive.

I never read anywhere about a making choices to influence the ending, but I still believe that it does. Even if the game had more endings to answer for all the choices you made in the previous games then you wouldnt be complaining about the lack of endings but not being able to receive the desired ending.

If its not ME3's ending today it will be rage at nvidia for lower than expected yields and the next will be Heart of the Swarm not living up to the hype.

Anyway, I don't think refunds just because a game didn't turn out the way you wanted is good. If you were against the whole day 1 DLC thing then you just don't buy the game, period. The only times refunds should be issued for games is when they don't work, like when I tried buying physical copies of Dead Island and they wouldn't install, so instead I downloaded through steam (and it took a really long time).

It is great that Amazon has a generous return program, but all Amazon customers pay for it in the end with higher prices.

Episode 1 was the beginning and not the ending so you get nothing.
