I'm thinking a OC'd GTX 570.. maybe a 6950.

550Ti SLI really isn't worth it.

Oh and Extreme Power Plus sicksmiley.png

You have 30 amps on the 12v rails (combined) with that PSU. You are probably limited to a 560 Ti max with a 2500K and that is probably pushing it.

If it were a higher quality 500 then I would say go nuts with any single gpu

CPU: i5-2500k
GPU1: GTX 550Ti
GPU2: GTX 550Ti
RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3 @ 1333.
PSU1 (The one I start out with): CM 500 watt.
PSU2: Corsair 650watt.
Mobo: AsRock Z-68 with 2x PCI-e slots.
Case: Cooler Master Scout.
Monitor: 18inch HP
What are your guy's thoughts?
Curiosity here: What GPU would be on par to the 2 550Ti's?

I was never planning on running both off of the CM. Though I'd like to use that CM for at least a month so I can get some use in it.

Just go with the 560 Ti so you won't have to upgrade PSU. If you go with 550 Ti's in SLI that will be pushing it on the power req. But if you plan on using that 18" monitor for a while then a single 550 Ti would suffice for good fps gaming.
I'd have to upgrade the PSU anyway to at least a 550 watt Kingwin. So I might as well get two 550Ti's. Use one until I get a better PSU then put in the other.
