Hello! smile.gif We're once again approaching a release day, so with that in mind, here are some release notes!

Several new features were added on the admin side that should make management of the site and tech support for users much easier, but since those aren't public facing we won't bore you with the details on them. Member-facing changes will be a group of bugfixes and performance improvements, noted below:

Bug Fixes, Etc:

8764 - User Awards containing URLs were showing up twice in some cases. We've cut this problem in half.

7636 - Isolated problems with the "currently viewing" module within forums were fixed. This was reported in Overclock.net's Off Topic forum, where a user would only see himself as "currently viewing."

8237 - User post counts should now match in the Site Stats homepage modules and user profiles. We reconciled some slightly different counting criteria.

8362 & 8465 - "Site messages" targeted to the sidebar will now show up on all site pages, not just the homepage. We also improved some of the form validation within the tool used to create site announcements and site messages. Invalid expiry dates should now be caught and warned correctly.

8701 - The "Popular Albums" module on /gallery will now draw from personal albums as well as community albums. This should expand the amount of content exposed there by quite a bit.

6486 - The Moderator "Roll Call" page will now be more responsive to permissions changes and therefore more accurate.

8306 - BBCode bullets should now be rendered more correctly within sticky notes.

8763 - We're making a system-wide effort to improve the platform's tolerance to Javascript failures. You should find that you can now use all the major functions of the PM area of your site with JS turned off. Our goal is to make these interfaces more tolerant of errors, loading delays, and browser peculiarities while also making more things work with a right-click "open in a new tab."

You should see all of these fixes go live mid-afternoon tomorrow, March 20th.
