Do you know what a 4K projector on a 8 feet wide screen is? You should crawl out from under your rock, and enjoy the scenery in the modern gaming world... wink.gif

Oh good, I was starting to worry that there would be an entire thread where Levesque didn't storm in and start bragging about how much money he has but at the last minute, crisis averted! Thanks Levesque... rolleyes.gif

Of course everybody knows that if you don't have "$3500 worth of displays" and a "35k projector on a 8 feet wide fully treated screen" you are obviously doing it wrong... (Not a big enough "rolleyes" smiley for this one)

Meanwhile, here in the real world where most people don't own their own mall, 2GB of VRAM is plenty for any single-screen resolution (and any surround setup with limited AA).

Funnily enough it was Levesque who used to say that the 1.5GB 580 was crap compared to the 6970 because it didn't have that amazing 2GB of VRAM but of course now 3GB is what true gamers gotta have...

Meh Levesques HT room looks alright. But I personally like to sit centered when I'm gaming, his seating you'd have to be offset on the left or right because the seats are in pairs. That would ruin it for me.

The only downside really of $500 GPU having 2GB is that if you want to sell it 1 year from now you will get much less money for it. 2GB should be plenty up to 2560x1600. I have not tested any higher. The only problem is new games might use more in the future.

No doubt, the room and his rig are both incredible. The thought of 4 water-cooled 7970's gives me goosebumps....
