I'll believe it when I see it. Also, I have to think something is lost in translation here, but I didn't get the whole 'road from the kitchen...' thing. A little help? smile.gif
::edit:: don't get me wrong, I love competition and I'm excited to see what Nokia is going to bring to the table. And I also think WP7 has a better chance of being an iPhone killer than Android, but that's for another day. I just won't believe that term until it actually happens and causes a redesign of the iPhone

Before the iPhone came out, there were other phones you considered well designed, were there not? I know I certainly thought highly of many designs and OS that had surfaced. iPhone iterated well on them, but now it's a stagnant design that they can't change because their stock will drop 3%.

It can't be the best* phone forever, right?

*already not the best phone anymore in this guy's opinion, and I've been a user since iP3.

For the last time, arguing about which one is better gets us nowhere! My old motorola v3x could be better for some people than your average smart phone as an example, at the core this argument is ridiculously biased.

I'm curious... did you read the article? This phone is based off windows phone, they've pretty much given up on symbian now(at least I hope so).

I agree wholeheartedly but, I could have sword Nokia actually recently released a Symbian based phone... UK based iirc. I might be pulling these phone models out of my rear, so I'm not 100% sure about accuracy.

Nokia 700 / 701 and Nokia 808 PureView all have Nokia Belle, basically a renamed Symbian OS.

I'm tempted to say I saw this a month or two ago. Why Nokia is still even trying with Symbian is beyond me. Windows Phone imo is their best option... :\

Why do you hope for the death of Symbian? What is bad about the OS? (remember, Symbian is a kernel not a UI. Symbian could easily have a UI that's identical to WP, Android, webOS, iOS, etc if desired).

Back on topic, why would one say that WP makes iOS dated? WP UI not efficient either.

Popularity has nothing to do with quality, as it is, the glass on the front and back being exposed is one great example.

Opinions aside, the iPhone is a very good phone. That can't be denied.

Some people may prefer Android, BlackBerry or whatever, but nobody can simply say the iPhone is rubbish.

LOL, I will definitely take that bet, but I bet I won't be able to find you later this year when it comes time for you to pay up. wink.gif

- Complete Office Suite integration free of charge
- Windows Server snap ins
- Live updates of your XBOX games to your phone (you can play your games on the phone)
- Countless advantages for business through the use of VPN and RDP.
- Automatic sync of multiple system all through a single Live or Exchange account
These are just SOME things that neither Apple or Google can offer properly at this point in time. "Only possible reason I could see wanting to connect to an XBOX for would be mobile hotspot" lol you need to think outside the box mate. The next XBOX will probably have an x86 architecture, which means even more capabilities for the end user and more integration potential for Microsoft.

-There is no such thing as "free of charge" when it comes to Microsoft.
-I can already play N64 games, Gameboy games, Playstation games, and most likely XBOX games (although I haven't tried XBOX yet) on my Android through the use of emulators for free.
-Android already has VPN and RDP capabilities.
-Again, Android already has sync capabilities with Exchange accounts. I have one setup with my work.

So, again what integration capabilities will Windows Phone 8 be capable of that Android is not?
