Your best bet would be to get a SPDT contact switch or magnetic proximity switch and wire the CCFLs to the NC (normally Closed) contacts of the switch. If you want them to also work with the PC turned off, then you'll need a separate 12V supply that you use to provide the power.

a schematic for you; essentially, when you close the case, the switch will be thrown thereby opening the NC and closing the NO thus switching off the CCFLs
