A buddy of mine bought the game  he says that he loves it. I am having a hard time wanting to toss 64.00 on the game when every single review is either a 3/4 out of 10. I know its not always the best to pay to much attention on reviews but with those scores its really hard not to.

You'd be waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better off with Left 4 Dead 2 if you don't already have that. The versus mode is so underrated and very deep and innovative.......I played like 400 hours altogether of versus in l4d2.

I'm in agreement with this. I absolutely love the Resident Evil franchise and have bought pretty much every Resident Evil game out there, with the second and third being my favorites. Just something about Raccoon City... it's the perfect town for zombies... I was so happy to hear a new game that's set during the events between the second and third was being made, but the the single player campaign got such a bad review... frown.gif RE is all about the single player experience frown.gif I'll probably buy this when the price drops down to $20.00 or so, which will probably be soon.

rofl i have the game (got it as a gift) but havent played yet.
what i hate about it is that it doesnt have split screen multiplayer so the only way you can play with firends is online. which means they gotta blow 60$ on the game too. kind of a downer.

PSN: yug-taht if anyone wants to play tongue.gif but im a noob

What a let down, I was expecting a third-person shooter of a Left 4 Dead, what I got is a DLC quality game with Resident Evil on the title. This game really don't deserve to be called a RE game because it's totally different from what the franchise has been marketing. The gameplay is just ridiculous, I need to spend a whole clip of magazine of a zombie. The worst part is dealing with Hunters, these guys will make those huge African zombies in RE5 looks like little kids. They are extremely hard to take down, if your teammates are not co-operating then you are done. Knowing this is a Capcom game, chances are there will DLCs coming out in the future. So if you are interested in purchasing this game, please do so AFTER the extended edition comes out!

I hate everyone that puts this game down. Most people talk about the feel of the game and how it is not the same as the other games. Here's the reality, things will never feel the same. The only way there will be another amazing Resident Evil game is if they make another one for the PS1. The new age graphics and gameplay are what killed the Resident Evil franchise.

On to this game. At first, I wasn't so sure on the game, since I really didn't like RE4 or 5, but I went for it and I'm not disappointed. I'm glad that you are actually killing zombies and not some drug infested crazy people. Of course the game is a little short and there are aspects that aren't so great, but at least this game is a step in the right direction. Besides FFXIII-2, this game was the only other game I spent hours playing without getting bored, which is amazing since every game for years haven't been able to keep my attention.

To the other people, this game is like the others in the franchise, just more upbeat. The games that are way from the franchise are RE4 and 5, regardless of what people say. Of course it is going to take a lot of ammo to kill a zombie, they're undead beings duh. You shoot them in the head and they go down quicker. Hunters were always annoying to kill in all RE games.

Saying this game was a let down is extremely absurd. For starters, it's really just a quick teaser and something to sink your teeth into until RE6 comes out, which who knows, it could be a garbage game. This game actually impressed me. It has some sort of feel of a Resident Evil game, but no game will ever be like that again. The whole RE feel died long ago and it will never be back. Left 4 Dead was a let down. I followed that game when it was first talked about. I was so excited for it and waited through each delay and postponing of the game. When it came out, it was the biggest let down I've ever dealt with. In the beginning the game was supposed to be a survival by any means with an open world, but it became a POS get to the safe house game. Yea the game is still fun, but not as good as it should have been.
