LOL I KNEW IT!!! I DID THE SAME THING!!!!! I have an HP I got 3 years ago and like 4 months after I bought it I got a 5770 for it xD. It was $1000 when I bought it too due to the 8gib ram at @2000mhz <3 and the hard drive @ 1tb and 1 dvd and 1 bluray drive tongue.gif

Last time I 'built' a prebuilt it was a dell e510... and i was satisfied for quite a while (at it wasn't even 1000). Perhaps one should make better decisions? Like build... Welcome to OCN.

Did the same thing 4 years ago. Bought HP machine for$1000, upgrade the PSU and GPU to a 550W Corsair + a EVGA 9800GTX+. It lives on in the next room.
