Almost finished building my first HTPC, thoughts?

I'll have pics up soon as it's done.

But anyway here are the specs:

Case: Silverstone GD06
Mobo: ASUS P8H67-M PRO
CPU: i5-2300
GPU: MSI Twin-Frozr/II GTX 560 Ti OC (on it's way)
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (4x2)
SSD: Mushkin 120 GB
HDD: WD Green 2 TB (on it's way)
HDD2: Seagate 70 GB (some old HD I found laying around until the 2 TB arrives)
Optical Drive: ASUS BD-Drive
OS: Windows 7 Home 64-bit
Remote/Keypad: IOGEAR GKM561R, I also bought an HP MCE remote/receiver.

What do you guys think so far? I know it's a been overkill for an HTPC, but the thought of being able to game with it could be pretty cool (and my PS3 may end up becoming a paper weight).

I plan to use XBMC with it, but I'm completely new to the software. I would also like to use my Harmony One Remote, but it seems like being able to program the Harmony one to work with the HP MCE Receiver to control XBMC and NOT WMC seems like it would just be a big pain in the ass.

So I may just use the IO GEAR thing exclusively as my HTPC remote/keyboard. Or hell maybe I can use both. Any recommendations on the initial set up of XBMC?

Overkill for an htpc......yes, but since you plan to game I think its perfect. Head over to XBMC forums and get ready to learn! I use XBMC on my htpc and love it. Looks good!

I think there is thread over and xbmc that helps with setting up that control. yes, its a pain in the a$$

check out youtube. there are plenty of videos on how to set up xbmc!!!!

So wiring this thing was an absolute nightmare. Actually in all honesty I may have to go back and re-do some of it frown.gif. Because my spare HDD as of last night wasn't working. Which is an absolute pain considering how much of it I have to take a apart just to access that section.

Either way it's been pretty fun building this thing, at least it boots to windows as of last night. I probably still have many hours ahead of me configuring the remotes and XBMC.

Any recommendations on names? something movie based...I was thinking like Inception...
