Ok, I need to get my comp to run to the best of it's abilities. It's an e machine (which I know suck.) I'm not a fool just new to the scene. I play Asheron's call and would like to get the best performance for this game. This is what I have.

CPU:Intel® Celeron® D Processor 3521
(3.20GHz, 533MHz FSB, 512KB L2 cache)

Memory:512MB DDR (1 × 512MB) 400MHz (PC3200)
Expandable to 2GB upgraded with another 512mb card

hard drive:120GB (7200rpm, 2MB cache)

video card:ATI® Radeon® X300-based integrated graphics
Up to 128MB of shared video memory
PCI-Express® (PCI-E x16) slot available (video card is integrated into the motherboard)

Any other information I can share to help someone help me just let me know. I appreciate everyones patients with this question. If I can get this bad boy up to the best of it's ability I will be pleased. If this is possible. Thanks again.

Now I read a sticky about software but you don't think this is a good idea? Rage3d to be exact. Is it worth giving it a try for someone in my situation?

Not even worth it. Most motherboards will fail at a slight increase in fsb. Dont even bother.
