i heard you can only bump once a day

once a day or not, just don't overdo it

i think what you have is a bit on the low side, but still normal, the game is incredibly taxing and it handles a lot of graphics and terran in a screen

I played Anno 2070 on a GTX 570 with an i7 920 and it felt very smooth. Never checked fps (how do people check their fps in games anyway?), but you should definitely get more fps than 30, me thinks. I played at 1080p with settings on high I think.
Try updating drivers, reinstalling? I don't know really, maybe your settings are fine and I was actually playing on lower settings.

what 570 do you have? (update your rig in your sig man biggrin.gif)

Well, my DCII only runs 30-40 smooth when in very close up view to the buildings, once I scroll up to have larger area shown on screen, my FPS drops down to a very choppy 20-25, all settings maxed or close to maxing

Given I was only playing the demo, and people've been saying the complete game runs a bit better, but by how much I have no idea.

Go google some benchmarks for the game, I believe the ones I've seen all have 580 running below 40fps
