MOSFET heatsink for ASUS M4A88T-M?

Hi guys. I got this motherboard for my sons PC so I can install my old athlon X3 and unlock it and probably OC it. The athlon unlocked fine in my Gigabyte GA-MA770t-ud3p. I have an Enzotech MST-88 on my Gigabyte board's MOSFETS.

Any ideas as to what I should put on the ASUS board? Thanks in advance.

VRM cooling can be ensured with airflow as well as heatsinks: i.e. using the AMD stock cooler, any downward blowing CPU cooler, or an extra fan such as an Antec spot cool.

I just got rid of that motherboard last month because the VRMs overheat in about 10 seconds if you OC but I am using a x6 Thuban. Might work if you add heatsinks to them but I would just stay away from overclocking on that motherboard. The BIOS on there is a bit strange so be careful.

Just ordered the Enzotech MOS-C1 C1100's from frozencpu and I'm glad you informed me xd_ of using stock cooler. I'm gonna use the one from my 975 BE. I'm thinking of strapping a bigger fan on it though. Thanks for the advice.

You weren't kidding about the BIOS. Wth? It doesn't give real time calculations when changing multipliers. Not used to that.thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Yeah and for me that was the first time I ever overclocked is with that motherboard. Not fun.

I got the motherboard I have now for a streight trade for that one you have. Never buying the mATX boards again.
