[Released] Editing a thread reverts to rich text format

Thread Starter
So I made a post and then tried editing it but I got this "This is Rich Format content so you've been switched to the Rich Editor."

It basically broke the post as far as the image I had inserted. And I had the same problem in both Opera and TouchPad WebOS. I have BBCode set as my default editor. The post can be found here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1210700/the-folders-lounge-join-the-march-foldathon-win-prizes/2860_20#post_16765757

I've managed to fix it by reuploading the image, but now the post is stuck in RTE.

OK managed to replicate it again. Here's a screen shot after making a post with a pic and editing it.

Heres the post: http://www.overclock.net/t/1210700/the-folders-lounge-join-the-march-foldathon-win-prizes/2860_20#post_16765891

But It fixes itself when I quote a person quoting my broken quote:

I can confirm this happening. It happens whenever I edit a thread.

To confirm, you both have Javascript enabled? What specific version(s) of Opera?

I had that happen a while back ,but it was only my copy of Opera at work doing it.

I ended up reinstalling Opera at work.

There was a bug for about half a day or so where the Rich Text Editor had a bug that caused browser detection to fail.  It should work now.  But when a post is created in one format, and you edit it into another format, that is irreversible in general.  The code breaking issue should not continue to happen, if it does link me to an example that I can check out and let me know what your default editor is.

No further reports of this one, so I'm going to mark it as resolved.
