This case was solved for me before I ever came anywhere near these threads, but the difficult part seems to be convincing everybody else of that 8)

No kidding...I had people posting on my YouTube, telling me they have an electrical engineer degree and I should go get one of those degrees before I disagreed with anything he said. He tried to tell me that Vertical Sync framerate means nothing. It just outputs what your GPU says, not what your monitor displays. So even though I was telling my Video Card to output 120hz, my monitor wasn't actually doing it. To back up that claim, he told me that he could change his refresh rate from 60hz to 53hz and then Vsync would not go over 53fps. I didn't even try explaining how silly his "argument" sounded.

Well as bQvle stated, it sounds like it will be quite soon. What I want to know is whether they are going to charge the normal $250 Korean price + shipping, which would be about the same as we pay on eBay, or if they're going to charge an extra $100 or so because they know we really want them and can't get them anywhere else. Will be interesting to see.

man you should have ironed out pricing first.. if they know they can get away with charging more they will... i think 250+shipping is fair

I would be ok with even a $50 premium. That's a 20% markup over retail. But that was my biggest concern since the start of this thread. Because if it costs $500 as some had speculated...it'd be cheaper to buy the standard monitor and buy one of the pcb's scribby is sourcing on the catleap club thread tongue.gif

I'm also expecting there to have been an agreement for kickback per unit sold with bQvle for having arranged this for the company. At least that's how I would have negotiated with them. I've dealt with Asian companies before. They're crafty. Haha.

Shh don't tell the vendors that!

But I don't think the price won't be much higher though. They're setting up their web order form, and skipping eBay, so it'll at least save them the ~10% fee. Hopefully the savings will be passed onto the consumers though tongue.gif

Hah. Savings passed on to the consumer. I like that. It's funny. tongue.gif

i bet they will charge atleast 350.. which is outta my pricerange... at 250 i would get three at even 300 i wouldnt get any...it all depends on what they wanna do.. the fact that there not going thorugh ebay is great saving a ton of money on there end and i hope that will keep teh price at or around 250..

lol 250? probably over 400. Would not be surprised if even closer to 500. They could charge a premium b/c it would be the only ones available anywhere. No competition. Plus its been hyped for months now in just about every computer forum I've seen. Demand will be very high.
