I would also be down for 1-2.

However--and not just trying to throw a wrench in the gears--I would prefer an option to have tempered glass if possible.

Well just don't throw wrenches at your monitor and you'll have no problems biggrin.gif

Is 5ms good enough for Gaming?, i have a Benq XL2410T (2ms Gtg) 3d monitor. I bought it for FPS games actually and it is perfect, i never used it's 3d tho. Now i'm willing to sell it for this YAMAKASI , i'm bored of this monitor and want to change it actually.

I'm in too, if it can meet my gaming needs rolleyes.gif

I don't have the chart that was posted for the measured response times. But I believe GTG was ~9ms. At 100hz with equal framerates you'd get 10ms between each frame. It may not be 120hz/8.33ms gaming but it's 83% of 120hz can do. IMO, that's close enough and the extra screen real estate not to mention being IPS opens up other uses for non-gaming purposes. If that's your goal of course.

I'd love to see an IPS at 100hz and will be grabbing at least 1 of these if they come to market.

Comparing my 5ms IPS vs 3ms TN at 60z, the IPS blurs less during fast pans in fps games. IIRC, IPS colour transitions are generally faster than TN.

Pretty much the consensus is perfect pixel, VESA mounting (no goofy arch on back), DP (or DVI with switch, but DP is priority), and thin bezel w/ no badging (I would recommend a Overclock.net sticker included for those who want to put it on thumb.gif )

Should totally update the OP (when OP comes back) with this info.

If we pull this off, it will be the first IPS 1440P with 120Hz in the world for consumers/gen public tongue.gif

Im not sure if DLDVI supports 1440p@120 hz, DP I know for sure does.
