Its not the RAMDAC. RAMDAC = Random Access Memory Digital to Analog Converter. There is no Digital to Analog conversion going on when you sending a signal to DVI/HDMI/DP monitor.

What I guess might be happening is that its using the same clock for the TMDS chips. Every single graphics card over the past decade has had a 400 MHz RAMDAC (for the DB-15 VGA output) which is not used for the digital output.

KaRLiToS Catleap Q270 is 65 cm wide . Your desk is 161 cm.... So, as you can see, 3xQ270 is 195 cm (~79,5 inch) and your desk is a little bit small for surround setup, like mine (125 cm, ~51 inch) mad.gif

yea total width about 76.5". to fit 3 on a desk i would need about 62" width. and that's having about 6" of the left and right monitor hanging off the desk maybe less. by hanging off the desk i don't mean the stand hanging off, just the display. the stand will lay flat on the desk with room to spare, if you know what i mean.

Its not that I can't do calculation rolleyes.gif 25.5 x 3 =76,5" but the side monitors will have an angle. Anyway, I'll try to fit it somehow wink.gif

In for at least one... I don't think my current computer area can support more than one... But I'd be willing to trade off 2-21.5" ASUS monitors for one of these. Holy awesome gaming.
