100hz (10ms) is perfectly fine. The difference between 120hz (8.3ms) is pretty negligible tbh.

I'm fine with single dual link DVI controller assuming minimal input lag.

Yeah, dual-link DVI is fine, virtually every card has it smile.gif.

OK I'm know I'm jumping the gun, but has anyone tried debezeling this? It seems because the control panel is modular (volume control and whatnot) the PCB can be detachable from the case, and uber thin bezels + surround = accidentally my keyboard for all intents and purposes.

So if anyone was adventurous enough please do tell or link to a post.

Well I wouldn't exactly be too happy if it was a multiport version with significant amounts of latency. tongue.gif

With minimal, I'm talking 2-5ms tops.

Yeah, I definitely want a single input too.

There will probertly be variants (tempered and speakers etc.), but i dont know how much our input is going to affect. (thinking ports).
I thourght the limitation was in the GPU pixel clock at the high resolution. DP wont help that? or?
If so, it would be nice with DP + DVI. dont think they will produce a DP only monitor, that would be very limited.

If you do a DP + DVI you introduce lag AFAIK. That's why a single connection is better than a multi-connection setup. If they could do both w/o having to do a conversion then hells ya smile.gif. From what I have read that isn't the case though. Please fill free to prove this statement wrong! The more accurate knowledge we have the better for everyone!

How would DP only limit the monitor? DP is what replaces DVI. Any videocard worth 1/2 a **** has DP now and has for the last couple of years. people aren't running these on their 5yr old budget HP system. If they are attempting to they need to upgrade lol.

I'd be in for 1, possibly a 2nd.

Heck, while we're at it with special request monitors... since most of us are from the states, we should probably request if these monitors can be manufactured with power specifications suitable for our households too.

But, yes I am in like Flynn if we can do 100+hz

If it works in EU as well or we get to choose the brick we want then knock yourselves out smile.gif
