But, yes I am in like Flynn if we can do 100+hz

They already are. The power supplies are variable, like most of that type. 1-2 people have complained about receiving a bad power supply but be thankful that they are external and not internal! External is easy to replace smile.gif.

i would be in for 1, if it has a multi inputs since recently, the sellers has been jacking up prices on ebay. If this person can sell it on ebay and undercut everyone to some extent, and offer such a product, then it would be good deal. No doubt he is checking what the demand for this.

to keep things simple for what i want, 100hz, multi inputs, and a blank label (if possible).

DisplayPort for 120hz! It doesn't have to add input lag, especially if there is no scalar still. It's more simply a matter of switching where the input comes from. You could even just have a dummy switch so there's no auto-detection / extra logic in there. Switch the slider from DVI to DP and back to switch between them.

Also if they can minimize the bezel (I don't know if this is still Yamakasi) that would be nice. I'd be in for 3 @ 450-500 if they can guarantee 120hz (with DisplayPort) and have a smaller bezel (There really isn't any advantage to a bigger one... maybe easier manufacturing?), VESA mounting, and yea.

Buttons on the back of the display like Crossover would be nice too, makes Eyefinity/Surround have less issues (if you're switching between portrait / landscape).

If i understand this offer correctly, we're basically being asked if we want a version of Catleap with 120hz and not a vastly different new model.

Catleap with only DP would be great if that would not add to the costs too much compared to only DVI as input.

I'd dare to guess most people that want a 100hz+ monitor want to avoid input lag so multiple input options go against that (if i'm not wrong). Not to mention that multiple inputs also mean a higher price.

They could make another 120hz model with all the bling after if this one proves succesfull.

I'm in for 1 one around $400-$425 shipped. 100hz-120hz refresh rate, no dead pixels guaranteed. Don't care about the input type, but display port would future-proof it.
Since this thread is so new I don't think it's made the rounds yet, but I can tell you that there's a good sized contingent over at the HardForums that would be all over it. I am not sure how many of them are registered users here, though.

Honestly, if that option is available, I don't know that most people would buy anything else.

Well said. I'm after 100hz or greater biggrin.gif (with nVidia cards) and minimal input lag.

well, a 120hz capable monitor. GPU will still limit us to around 100hz in 2560x1440.

What im getting from people is that there is still some interested in the Multi input monitor, while majority wants a single input to avoid input lag.
Basicly we want all current models with 120hz PCB board, And one Multi version (upgraded with displayport).
if possible a Swichable version, between DP and DVI if it doesn't affect input-lag.

Its confirmed that these monitors run 120hz if you reduce the resolution to about 2560x1110~
i dont thing Dual-DVI is the limiting factor for running 120hz @ 2560x1440. but i dont know.

a couple of guys on an Irish forum are interested too. ill get numbers.

Well, I am in ireland and would be interested, I voted yes!!

As another poster said

"Same here I am also interested in a I'm in for a non-tempered, no-speaker, no-scaler, 120 Hz, perfect pixel model "

I couldn't have put it any better!!

I'm up for one, preferably with a single DP, but could live with other input options.

well if it is just a choice between an entire lcd or nothing then +1 with single display port
(and debadged if possible). but i think i'd rather see about sourcing the pcb and upgrading. that way people who already bought theirs can upgrade them smile.gif
