Paint over the LED's plastic with sharpies, lol. Or, like someone else said, change it yourself smile.gif

It's not worth complicating the deal, confusing potential buyers, and giving manufacturers a reason to hike the price up another 50 bucks.

Let's remember that the only point to these particular monitors is that you can mod them to get over 60fps..

Well Said.

Well, Thursdays meeting, they agreed that they would make these! What Im waiting for is, final Specs + price + Link where you can buy!
It will take about 1 month to manufacture!
the guy called "somethng" who is also posting, is my contact. So he is reading everything you suggest aswell!

Thanks for the update. I'm hoping for a thinner bezel as well. Since I like the advantage in reading web pages in portrait mode a new stand that allowed for that would be appreciated as well. I'm sure many people who want multiple monitors for gaming would like this feature as well.

Oh boy, why bring all the hate? I get your point but the deal has already been made so I don't see what's the problem into making another minor suggestion that could possibly be put into consideration for the sake of a great number of us that would like that feature. Everyone's a winner in this. 50 more bucks you say? C'mon.

Be a little more open minded, and not so fast to laugh at what others prefer.

do they tried to use newer 27" AH-IPS panel LG LM270WQ3 (instead of old LG LM270WQ1), if not - it make sense to wait a little to test it too

Wow this is great news!

Do you have any info on when the final pricing will be decided?

Would be really nice if it landed around 400$, if it does i think ALOT of people will buy it
post #787 of 1131
All we want is for them to make these 100hz monitors so we can buy them. Please don't request **** like this. A height adjustable stand though, that's something every monitor should have that's over 150$ imo. I'm happy without it though.

Edit: Just saw others commented on this, well, I'll leave it anyway.

What's wrong is the guy can decide to not go through with this for any reason. Don't give him one. We are so many dying to get this screen.

Well, I might just end up picking up a monitor now. The idea of waiting a month+ is a little too long down the road for me.. reason is my current monitor bit the dust and I'm using an old 17" Compaq with 40ms response time lol

can you imagine 40ms response time!!!!!

Well, the U2711 has 3/4 of that according to tftcentral, so if everything goes well, I don't even have to start imagining thumb.gif

Hope this goes even though im kinda in the market now for a LCD I guess I could wait for one of these. It would be nice to have these before Diablo 3 releases biggrin.gif

Also I dont think the stands are important most people will probably be buying a arm anyway. I would possibly buy 2 but im waiting on my sister who is in Korea to get back to me about getting them at street value.
