I hope not. That is an AdobeRGB screen. Good for photographers and graphic design professionals, bad for normal users.

I hope so! Honest 10-bit - this is what I want! Of course, it is necessary to configure!

I'm pretty sure some of the more expensive Korean monitors ($700+) are 10bit. If you really need 10bit, you can get one of those. There's no reason to raise the price on these 100hz capable monitors for something that so few people care about. All we want is 100hz at 1440p.

I hope and doubt they will change to such a panel, since we want the fast original ones but with 100hz.

Also, how many are they going to make in this first (of hopefully many) batches? Sorry for all the questions, this just has me very interested!

I would also like to see a VESA mount on the Catleap, as I plan on wall mounting. HDMI input would be great as well!

Oh, and another +1 for pricing around $400.

Be a little more open minded, and not so fast to laugh at what others prefer.

A simple mod can change any LED color. You're buying the monitor, not the LED color.
People focus on useless characteristics like LED color and wonder why their PCs are crappy.

A VESA mount is a great request that will help everyone, not just one person's OCD over LED color. It's $400+ less than the Dell U2711, deal with it. rolleyes.gif

How about to add a multiple poll to this thread with several "wanted" options like:

VESA
Height adjustment
etc.

It should be helpful for Yamakasi's representatives.

HDMI input is not possible; it has insufficient bandwidth to drive native resolution and refresh rate (I think the multi-input versions include it, cause they have a scaler - but you won't get 2560x1440 out of it).

The catleap *does* have a VESA mount (75mm) - it's just inexplicably hidden underneath the plastic arc attached to the back (which can be removed if you disassemble the monitor).

It will take about 1 month to manufacture!
the guy called "somethng" who is also posting, is my contact. So he is reading everything you suggest aswell!

Great work thumb.gif
Been checking daily or better for updates.
Can't wait til these start rolling out.

Only extra feature I'm concerned with is a very small bezel if possible, also good packaging! Hawaii seems to mistreat my mail fairly often...

The Catelap Q270 has a VESA mount.

For everyone who is making additional suggestions, do realise your suggestion will add to the already premium cost. These monitors will already be more expensive than comparable Catleaps due to two issues: the more expensive PCB, and the limited quantity custom order run. We are no longer dealing with a reseller, where you can get discounts on orders of a quantity in the dozens; we're dealing with a manufacturer, where the discounts are on orders in the thousands.

If people insist on posting suggestions, please state how much additional money you are willing to pay over and above the price premium for said suggestion. That way, bQvle will have an idea of what leeway he has to play with in negotiations for pricing. It's no good that he knows people want a better stand; ok, but how much are people willing to pay for it?
