Let's keep this simple:

Zero defect, perfect pixel panel
No speakers (we don't need crappy speakers adding to the cost)
No tempered glass (risk of dust)
Include a US power cable (power brick is already 110-240V)
Better stand like the Crossover LED-P (if possible)
Debranded if possible (at least get rid of that holographic sticker, and we don't really need that plastic arch either)

That's all we need really. Adding DisplayPort would require engineering a new board, which would add to the cost. We just want the old boards with dual-link DVI because we know that works. DisplayPort won't guarantee a higher refresh rate. In fact, I ran into a 288 MHz pixel clock limit with the AMD/ATI driver, which is lower than the 330 MHz limit with dual-link DVI. We should bug AMD to remove this limitation, but even then, the hardware seems to be limited to 400 MHz, which is the same with NVIDIA cards. Are there any video cards that can go past 400 MHz with DisplayPort? No other monitor has come close to testing this limit.

LIke many others I would be in for a plain simple performer

glossy screen
1440p
no speakers
no scaler
no OSD
no tempered glass
plug and play for 110v-120v would be amazing

If they can gurantee 120hz over DP great, otherwise I would be happy with a 100hz DVI-D

Just made this account to let you guys know that I would be in for one as well!

Just like ToastyX said:

Perfect Pixel Panel
No Anti-Gloss coats
No Glass
No Speakers
Better stand Like CrossOver LED (Don't personally care if it pivots or not. If it keeps costs down I say no pivot).
SINGLE INPUT ONLY!!! Either DVI-D or DP to avoid input lag.
No need to include US power cable - everyone who would POSSIBLY buy this already has a few laying around somewhere.

I'm in for 3 glossy 100hz panels with no frills. The stand doesn't matter much to me but I would prefer it be easily removable (ie skip the stupid plastic arch on the back).

Keep the bezel as simple as possible too, thin black border with no leds or logos being the holy grail here.

I don't get it, are you guys referring the "Perfect Pixel" option Green-sum offers?

Or just in general, perfect pixel as in zero dead pixels.

Cause, with perfect pixel option from Green-sum you can get up to 5 dead pixels which is not a defect to them!

As ToastyX and others have said this is definitely relevant to my interests. I would take 1 possibly 2 myself. Keep us updated smile.gif

The only way to get a perfect pixel thing going is if they start putting the +A panels in here instead of the -A. +A panels are what people like Apple and HP use. Think of it in terms of CPU's. It's the same product, just binned a little higher.

To make it 120hz capable it looks like they will have to switch to a new board anyways. Really either DVI-D or DP work but DP future-proofs it more and isn't any cheaper to produce. They don't have to pay royalties like you have to do with HDMI.

I don't understand why people want multi-input. You're not going to be pushing your 360 to 1080p @ 120hz. Even so, there are plenty of 1080p 120hz monitors. They will look and perform better than these.

If people are wanting 120 Hz I don't think they'll be too concerned about a few dead pixels on this monitor since there will be so much fluid action going on on the screen to distract from it!

Also, requesting a different stand doesn't seem very constructive - people can replace it for additional cost if they want, otherwise it should be left as is - the less alterations we request, the cheaper it will likely be.
