Those compatibility lists are pretty much bogus; we've seen lots of people with "incompatible" cards reporting that the monitor works just fine. The important part is just that you have an actual DUAL-link dvi port on your card; if so then you're set.

Given that the agreement was reached last week and availability within a month has anything else happened at all since? Any updates? 3weeks later these should be available

And what exactly is happening? IE are we getting a better product?(perhaps better quality? thinner bezel? better stand?)
OR
identical batch of catleap as previous 2B batch? ie can overclock
post #894 of 1131
Thanks! I can't wait until these roll out!
I voted yes, and if these are as good as people say, I will buy more than one.

How do you think my 480gtx will hold up with this monster resolution? I dont play bf3 on PC. Mostly games like GW, GW2, and Crysis 2

Should be fine unless you're trying to crank everything.

This is becoming a long read, so correct me if I'm wrong:

The current status of these 120hz IPS monitors is ~ 3-4 weeks? Is that set, a sure thing? Any price estimate?

I'm looking at buying a regular one now. What sellers should I check? I've seen DCsamsungmall and red-cap.
Maybe just a dream. Since we are going to pay extra for perfect pixel, can backlight bleeding be checked at the same time as well? Dead pixel and backlight bleeding are 2 major concerns for led lcd.
Something, if you are reading, is it possible?
So when will these be available for purchase and how? I voted yes a while ago.

Also I read somewhere that these monitors don't have any menus, does that mean you can't adjust brightness etc?
