I'd personally pay for the following features:

-Overclocking hz: up to ~$50 extra
-DP (instead or along with the DVI-D): up to ~$50 extra
-Extra thin bezel: up to ~$25 extra
-Durable monitor frame/back/case with stronger materials (like the crossover): up to ~$25 extra

There are other things I might like (better stand, easy usable vesa mount, etc) but I do not think I would pay extra for those... they would be just frosting on top.

All that matters to me is a good pane with no dead pixels and no backlight bleeding. Ill mount my on an arm if I have to! lol

Put me down as interested as long as I can get to 85+ hz minimum, but hopefully 100hz.

technically their compatible/incompatible stuff is total BS. Becuase of the wide ranges this monitor will accept (on signal) any DVI video card will work (yes any). What the difference is with the listed compatible ones is they are capable of higher refresh rate. I am sure some of those even really crappy 120Mhz max DVI clock cards that I have seen (PCI cards) that normally say 1280x1024 max would still run this monitor but probably only at 30 Hz.

Interested how is this going by the way?

From the examples shown the limitation always appears to be the graphics card, not the panel (except perhaps in Hypermatrix's >120Hz tests). Assuming your video card will drive it, you should have no problem hitting a *minimum* of 100Hz.

really interested in this display, hopefully they'll manage to make it available also in Europe (UK).

I am doing a bit of research.. what I find out it's probably not good.
simple question.. will the dvi dual link be able to transmit 2560x1440x120?
simple answer: NO
it doesn't have enough bandwidth.
we know that the single link provides a maximum frequency of 165MHz pixelcycle. so the maximum bandwidth of DVI dual link should be around 330MHz.
2560x1440x120 = 442,368,000 Hz = 442MHz > 330MHz
therefore the cable wont be able to drive the drive at full 120Hz
the 330MHz DVI dual link will bottleneck at around 89Hz (still not bad).

please tell me I'm wrong sadsmiley.gif
