I'm confused as to why some motherboards claim they support 1600mhz ram when oc'ed yet some don't, does this mean I cant pair up the following?
Samsung DDR3 PC1600: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147096
with one of these?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138283
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138199
I'm looking for a BUDGET mobo, to replace mine, and fit that ram. less than $75 if I can help it.
I.e. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138290R
I'm open to ANY suggestions.
Features I want:
Am3
Core unlocker
Easy OC potential
non clustered (large video card covering ports etc)
handle 8gb of ram
Would be nice but not needed:
usb 3.0
am3+
Black and red (totally not required, any color will do)
