MSRP:

Block, including backplate, PCI bracket, plugs, preinstalled therm pads, no fittings: $154.95
Bridge x2 : $21.95
Bridge x3 : $27.95

The product will go for sale online within 24 hours.

Reworked for reference cards with overgrown cap.

More detailed pics of the product.

One cosmetic issue with the sticker that is slightly bubbling at the VR cavity cover screws. The screws stick out 0.1 to 0.2mm and since the sticker is mirror black it obviously shows.

This obviously doesn't show once the block is installed, but it is really unfortunate as this product is otherwise gorgeous (particularly when installed with the logo lit up, it is truly sweet..)
There is no quick fix for this, and we need to rework the vr cavity cover screw countersinks to allow the screws to sink a tiny more, and to replace the sticker because once you remove it, it no longer looks good.
We should receive corrected VR covers and stickers within a week or so, then we'll need to rework the inventory.
Meanwhile, we will put the product on sale as is, with an advisory for a cosmetic defect, and a 10% discount on the MSRP.

MOAR!!! But Rendered.

Nice, whats the front faceplate made out of? Curious how the VRM block gets cooled with this setup, or does the water pass above the VRM block? Thanks, Hambone

Acetal. Water will pass through the VRM to cool it.

Great, thanks for the response. Any testing temps you can share on how well the VRM's are cooled? I'd like to compare to my EK that doesn't water cool the VRM's directly. With a overclock of 1200/1600 1.174v max load temp of 44c on my chip, the vrm's get to about 55c with the EK Acetal/copper.

I have 2 cards and 1 EK block. Need another, but if these work much better, I'd go with 2 of these and pitch the EK.

Thanks,
Hambone

Also do you make a Crossfire connector that will fit the slot spacing if using these 2 slots on a M4E?

Sadly, I have no temp tests. I only posted about these cards so the OCN community will be aware of it. But my personal preference in water cooling is if my idle temps on any blocks is 30-35C and load temps is 50-60C, for me it doesn't matter, it comes down to looks.

No crossfire bridge for the M4E w/ that config, but you can just use a Koolance Adjustable Dual/Triple Slot Vid Connector

Ok, thanks again for the info. Very nice block design!! Glad to see you cooled the VRM's that way. Should give the edge over my EK. I have those Sli connectors now, was just wanting to go the other route this time. I do like that you guys are including the backplates and pci brackets. Awesome job on pre-installed thermal pads, those are a pain sometimes.

Erm, as far as I know the EK block passes water over the VRMs too:

This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under high overclocks.

The water channel is under the metal plate:

55°C for VRMs is pretty good, especially given your OC. IIRC they are good up to 120°C before they start to throttle.

Off-topic: Yes, both EK-FC7970 as well as EK-FC7950 feature direct flow of water over VRM section.
