OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 OR Corsair Force GT?

Alright guys, as the title says. What would YOU rather go with?

Long story short, I have a buddy having trouble deciding one which to go with.
He either wants to go with:
OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 - 240GB $679.99 ($649.99 after rebate)
Max Sequential Read
Up to 1500 MB/s

Max Sequential Write
Up to 1225 MB/s

4KB Random Write
Up to 200,000 IOPS
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227744

or

Corsair Force GT - 480GB $689.99
Max Sequential Read
Up to 545MB/s

Max Sequential Write
Up to 490MB/s

4KB Random Write
Up to 55,000 IOPS
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233222

Now, right off that bat you can tell that the reads and writes are TREMENDOUSLY different. You're talking almost 3x the speeds with the RevoDrive compared to the Corsair. Also, you get double the size GB capacity on the Corsair for around the similar price range. ($40 difference after rebate on the Revodrive 3 X2)

What would you rather prefer. I wanna know your suggestions / opinions. Thanks.

Depends on what he will be using it mostly for IMO.

If it is just normal day to day stuff he would be better off on the GT.
If he is does video editing or lots of multi tasking then the revo.
If he wants bragging rights and bad ass benchmarks = revo..

I was just going thorugh the same thing, I ended up getting the revo that shipped today. Can't wait to get it.. smile.gif
I was able to snag a new one off the fleabay for $540.
I already have a SSD and it works well, but it slower than the newer versions out on the market today, thats why I went with revo

GT is universal, it will be good for daily use. Revo is more for benchmarking.
