Motherboard Tray on top of a Styrofoam block

Thread Starter

So I had my motherboard tray on top of a card box, today I change the card box for a Styrofoam block to be more sturdier, is this safe? Or I'm better of with the cardboard.

Both material can hold static charge. Your no safer nor more in danger with the new material, so your fine.
