Can't increase 3930k Ratio on Asus ROG 4 Formula motherboard.

Thread Starter
Ok so I recently upgraded my MOBO, CPU, RAM and Coolant.

Here's my set-up:
MOBO: Rampage 4 Formula
CPU: Intel i7 3930k
RAM: 8GB of 2133Mhz G-Skill Ripjaws
Coolant: Corsair H100
HDD's: 1 250GB (With OS and Drivers on) 1 1TB (now broken so I had to disconnect it in order for windows to load) 1 2TB (with lots of games and videos on)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5770
PCU: 850w

I wish to have my CPU at a constant 4.6GHZ on my 3930k which I think is doable but the problem is I can't figure out a way to change the ratio to 46x. If I try to select the "CPU Ratio" nothing happens. I tried the "Load Gamers OC Profile" and when the CPU is working hard it goes to 4.4GHZ-4.7GHZ but I want it as a constant 4.6GHZ clock. Manualy I can't change the CPU Ratio... WHY?! Do i have something turned on that's stopping me?

My last CPU was an Intel core 2 Quad Q9650 3.0GHZ with 3GB DDR2 533MHZ, Old in tell MOBO and same GPU but I ran Heaven Benchmark and I got exactly the same Result as my old set-up!! (13.9) ***?! something must be up here?

I really need a computer GURU please help! biggrin.gif

DId you disable speedstep and C1E, C6 etc. states? These downclock the CPU when not in use

Also may have to turn CPU off of OFFSET vcore which dynamically changes voltages with the different clocking, this allows a slightly higher overclock if you have a stationary cpu ratio and frequency
