Build now or wait for Ivy?

Thread Starter
Around this time last year I was rocking a dual 580 / 4.42ghz i7 920 setup and I got rid of it, I am looking to get back into PC gaming as I have the time / money spare again.

I'll mainly be playing:

WoW
ARMA 2/3
Skyrim
BF3
TF2

So I'm pretty much covering it all, from easiest to run to some of the harder stuff.

I have about $3000 put aside for this build (More than likely will spend 2k ish and then just upgrade to another GPU or SSD if I see fit)

What should I do? I know nothing of ivy (or its suspected release date) and am kind of clueless right now. If anyone would offer some suggestions on if I should go out and build up or if its worth waiting for I'd highly appreciate it!

Wait for Ivy. (which should be sometime in April).

reasons:
1. Ivy turns out to be worth it. Grab IVY!

2. Ivy turns out to be ok..... Snatch the Flood of 2600k's that turn out into the market.
Small wonder.

You could possibly do the build now with a Core, I3 and then return it when ivy comes out assuming that ivy comes out within the return period.
