Hey guys i have decided that i will be switching to intel and i need a board that is stable without issues. I have read reviews with some boards that are having boot loop issues. My budget is around $325. I have decided on the 2500k processor but i am undecided on a MB. I will be using a single card set-up so SLI/Xfire is not really needed but it would be a plus if it fits the budget. Suggestions please...

if your just switching to intel, why not wait for Ivy bridge?? if you dont want to wait and want a good board then have a look at the Asus z68 maximusIV gene-z

The budget is for the board plus the processor. I don't think it is really worth the wait for IB. Not sure if too much is gonna change and price is going to be that much of a difference. I can get processor for $179 @ micro center. I just want a stable board without issues.

Asus Maximus iv Gene-z sounds great but runs too much over budget. processor is $179 so that leaves around $140 for Mobo.

This. If your budget is a little bit lower, ASRock are a great brand, superb quality for price. I've had great dealings with them, never any problems
