Guys, the Q6600 only became great in 2008 when it cost the same as the E8400. In 2007 when it was first released it cost more than $800, and had a 105w TDP. Then it got better with the G0 revision with brought the TDP down to 95w and much lower idle power consumption. If I'm not wrong the first Q6600 used 50 w when idling, and the G0 used around 24 w.
