I'm confused now cause your title, OP and this post don't match what-so-ever. wth.gif
What's really goins on here? tongue.gif

EDIT: Ok I understand the title now. You were referring to the stock clocks. redface.gif
71C is fine for that OC. You shouldn't be throttling.thumb.gif

If it were me, I wouldn't run more than 1.4v through it for 24/7
I believe Intel stated the max voltage for the SB-E chips is 1.4v

1.440 now running Crysis 2 stable. Don't think I'm gonna go lower than that just to keep suability smile.gif should be ok 0.040 isn't much.

1.430 is now my clock and I'm keeping it there. Hottest core never goes over 68

Be aware that max temp is 66.8 C (of the entire package)

It is pointless to force OC for Games like Crysis 2 is - run benchmark from Crysis 2 at different clocks and you will see

I'm having issues with an H100 as well. i3960x reading 77°C. (fah smp)
I've got both a 100 and an 80 and by far the 80 has worked better. There seems to be a higher back-pressure in the flow in the 100.
Will find out Tuesday with an H100i what is going odd inside.

If you can check H100 for the air inside. That is the reason way i don't like those "closed" systems (all in one), you can't check whats going on
