You dont really need GTX680. Even a GTX580 will be a huge upgrade i mean huge.

You need to upgrade your gpu...and your cpu... and just upgrade most everything once you get a gtx 680. You'll thank yourself later. Go for a 3770k or something.

He's running a 920 @ 4GHz... Upgrading isn't absolutely necessary at all....

I got about double the performance going from 260 to 560ti. I'd imagine 560ti to 680 would be about close to double as well. So your looking at like 4x performance. biggrin.gif (Give for take, we need more benches!)

His CPU is still good when overclocked. I'd say good reason to upgrade is to get lower power draw and if you want SATA3 for maximum SSD speeds. It's not absolutely necessary.

This. No need to upgrade CPU for a single GPU.

Also OP, you should wait a little longer and see how prices shift with the GTX680. And I'd be tempted to wait for the GTX670 too. That's what I'm doing.
