also, please try lowering your power draw to around 110-115% and raising your core and memory clocks, seemed to work for me for heaven and every other benchmark including battlefield 3 for quite a few games as of yet with no hiccups.

Will do. Thanks for the tip. thumb.gif

Edited to add: Well gave it a try but though I could complete 3DMark11 P9593 and E3586 with a +115 / +125 / +275 - I could not get through a run of Heaven 3.0 maxed specs to be stable. Lowering Power Draw didn't help.

So for tonight and until next weekend will settle for the previous try. Stay 24/7 and game the rest of the week for true stability testing. The 30 mins in BF3 multiplayer proved great but I'm going to try Crysis 2 as well.

May have time for 3D Vision testing for FPS and give that some floor time.

Cant run 3dmark11

"DXGI_ERROR_NOT_CURRENTLY_AVAILABLE"

Now it worked, turned off MSI OSD

but I get this after ~1min

3DMark 11 has lost exclusive access to display and/or keyboard, benchmark run has been aborted. This can be caused by third-party applications running in the background. Please close any potentially interfering applications and restart benchmark.

And guess what? ITS THE WINDOWS STUPID FRIKKIN popup **** that always comes up when I play something "Please change to aero, I am here to annoy the crap out of you, but pelase turn off aero, windows detected your ****ty computer is running slow, or low on ram" -.-

Personally I have Aero turned off. Unneeded.

During a bench you should turn off Antivirus scanner. Leave Firewall up for obvious reasons but momentarily turn off Antivirus. Any other third party running stuff in the back ground, checking, updating etc....

Not sure how to help you though. It's frustrating I'm sure. Hang in there.

I use Aero because I cant stand the superbright blue borders, startmenu and how ugly it all looks!

I use black - but technically you shouldn't have to turn it off in the first place. I'm not sure why you got that response. That's a new one from benching for me. I always get the 'drivers stopped responding'. I'm glad it doesn't force restart or lock up. Good news is that it's most likely fixable or improvable with an Nvidia driver update soon.

What back ground apps do you have running that would hog up your RAM resources?

My ram usage is ~1.57GB out of 8GB right now.

I only use Steam, MSI Afterburner, Skype and Chrome.

I also have 80.04.09.00.01 from the Gigabyte card. By the way, I am not responsible if you damage your card, I just saved the BIOS with GPU-z, if you want me to save it with another method let me know.

Thanks for the effort bro.
But I think I'll have to put you through some more hassle, as I forgot to mention that GPU-z BIOS dump doesn't work properly with the 680s.
You need to dump ( save ) the card's BIOS using the latest nVflash ( http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2128d/nvflash_5.117.0.1.zip ) [ boot from USB/CD/DVD/Floppy(?!)/etc ]

Muchas gracias!
