EVGA SC available right now! Newegg

Edited - NM gone. That was the quickest I've seen them go. I had sold my vanilla locally for $600. Just picked up the SC. smile.gif

Yeah just checked and it does not have it.

Tried MSI Afterburner 2.2.0 BETA 15?

My voltage on EVGA Precision X is fine, I can move the slider, so I have no idea why you can't. headscratch.gif

Shipped off my 580, 680 won't be here until sunday. Tried BF3 @ 720p on low (2500k graphics) way low frames. Dropped it down to 1024x768. Man felt like I was playing CS. Still felt real sluggish too. I think I will take the weekend off and wait until the 680 shows up.

Also dumb question. Could I run surround with 2 x 1080p monitors and 1 x 1050p? I don't think so but thought I'd ask. Also does one of the 3 need to use display port?

I bet you could, but you would have to have all of them turned down to 1050p, I think?

Ok so I finally got to try out some BF3. 64 player operation firestorm, All settings to ultra without AA, FXAA is on in nvidia control panel, 2560x1440.

Was capped at 60 fps nearly the whole time! I think I dipped down to 54 at one point.

All I have to say is WOW smile.gif

That's what I was wondering. Anyone else care to comment on my surround question. All my monitors are dvi or HDMI btw.

First congratulations on your 680 incoming. smile.gif

As for the two 1080P and the one 1050 they would probably have to run all at the 1050 if that's possible. Just as if you had two 120Hz and one 60Hz you would have to run all three at 60Hz.

I guess when you get your card you'll be the first to know. Post back and update us too. Looks like you might have to get yourself a third 1080P monitor and then you'd be really styling. thumb.gif

Yah then I would be thinking of a second 680 lol. I just always wanted to play bf3 in surround. And my wife has a 1680x1050 monitor. I don't even have room on my desk for a third.

I think one monitor has to be DP though. Or at least needs one of those adapters. I may mess with it for fun.

You know what would be sick. 3 x 50" plasmas in surround lol.

WHATTTTT

Omg. My 680 just got here today but I am waiting for my displayport to mini displayport cord weirdsmiley.gif I was anxious to see the difference between a single 580 and 680 on 1440p BF3. I wasn't able to run max settings on BF3 with my single 580 in a playable (consistent 40+ fps) basis. I settled for High for a few days.
