You still have a bit of a higher graphics score, that's odd, what is your CPU clocks? But the point is - just look at physics score: your's is 40% better than mine, but our graphics scores are within 5% of each other. That's why overall 3DMark score is not really representative of graphics card's performance. If you want to compare your overclock's performance, it's better going off a graphics score.

Aw Hyper Threading. I'm aware of it i just didn't know that's what HT stood for. Thank you very much for responding and giving me THE REAL STORY. I'm glad to know that you have to look at the graphics score not the overall score. thanks my man!

You are always welcome thumb.gif BTW, your 3Dmark score is great, I've been struggling to get to 11K. At moments like this I start to regret not getting 2600K, but then I remember I don't really *play* 3Dmark, lol. So it's all good.

Has Nvidia fixed the issue with PCI-E 3.0 on X79 yet?

No, it's an NVIDIA issue seeing as AMD cards run at pci-e 3.0 on x79. There is a registry edit which you can do djriful, the gtx680s will then run at pcie 3.0 x16/x16 when in SLi mode.
338

It's also a very noticeable difference:

I think I'm done messing around with my overclock. got to 1215Mhz core 3305Mhz memory. Not incredible, but I can live with it. Hopefully drivers might help down the line.

Can't get "Rage" to run right with these cards. I've tried every trick I know of and plain shot in the dark experimenting. It still looks like crap.

A quick turn around and you can see the scenery flashing into existence. Some lower screen tearing. Mostly a slight stroboscopic effect that's killing my head!

Kind of like the cards aren't syncing properly, but all SLi. settings are copacetic.

I've tried Nvidia Control Panel wi/ let the 3D app. decide, Rage 64 settings using Advanced 3D Setings, plus Nvidia Inspector. No go.

Any suggestions?

What was your graphics score? My card does 1200 but I can't even break 10k. Seems like mine is underperforming.
