I saw that too and was doing it. Should be fine. If you get a driver crash you may need to restart your OC software/reset clocks.

For single monitor users, this again just like the 580s, are driver free of any problems. Going on 15 months straight without any issues for me. thumb.gif

In regard to scaling, I want to test a bit more before before I say a percentage.

So far surround gaming has been great, and I haven't really encountered any issues that would single SLI out from crossfire, either. Skyrim's menus are a bit zoomed in, but that's more of them being swf files, rather than a flaw with surround or eyefinity, as it is the same on both. I think there is a widescreenfixer dll for this now, too. SLI is nice and smooth, I cannot see a difference between SLI and a single card, and I am sensitive to microstutter too. Until I found out about flip queue with crossfire, I was soooo unhappy with the microstutter I was getting with 7970 crossfire it was unreal--I eventually set my flip queue to 0, and it was okay. SLI has given me no microstutter, everything is just nice and smooth, especially as I quickly sweep from side to side in first person shooters. I honestly forget I am running two cards, it's that good on my system. My favorite thing about surround in comparison to eyefinity is that my windows maximize to one screen, and not three. thumb.gif

These drivers seem rock solid. I haven't had any crashes or bluescreens. Those two things alone have made me quite happy. I tried out WoW @ 5760x1080 last night with SLI, wayyyyyyy better than on the 7970s. The 7970s gave me massive, random stutters, and these stutters were to the point where it was unplayable in crossfire. The 680s destroyed that game at 5760x1080 with every possible setting maxed, and without hardly breaking a sweat--even in Orgrimmar. My gf saw my computer when WoW was up and informed me that when I am at work the computer belongs to her, and she's playign WoW on it. HAHAHAHAA

To keep it simple: I am having great success with surround, SLI, and the drivers thus far. Only flaw I have found is that you can fill the 2 GB of vram at 5760x1080 if you use tons of AA, but honestly, I am fine with that.

Ok so Ive looped Unigine (all the highest settings) for ~10min now on +75 +250 & +110 PT - 1172MHz core and 3251MHz mem.

When is a GPU OC considered Stable?

When you can game for extended times. These cards are kind of strange. But heaven is a pretty judge for me. It would normally crash for me if my clock was too high. But the true test will be to play your games and see how it goes.

I had clocks that I thought were stable that started crashing after like 2 hours. But I think mine was defective or something.

Just saw this at evga. Some guy got a pair of 4gb 680's.

Here is the review of the Palit 4GB model:
376

http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/4665/palit_jetstream_geforce_gtx_680_4gb_video_card_review/index11.html

700
Unfortunately, they didn't include any multiscreen testing so we only see a small performance increase over the 2GB model.
