I posted this in my other thread:
This is fustrating, I think i'm done for now. When heaven crashes so does your driver, which resets your 1.175v and if you don't set that back AND restart your computer, heaven also runs about 5FPS lower on AVG and doesn't max your card out anymore!

I was 100% stable at +190/+515, restarted, same stats and now i'm not stable at +150/+450 for 2 minutes! Either drivers are wack right now or this card just isn't very stable with overclocks. I'm out of ideas here...

Not sure but it may be the memory clock. I bumped the core up to 200 (from 170) and the memory down to 400 (from 500) and no more artifact. I'm gonna push a bit more.

Did you restart before doing so? It's been proven by a few people that when your driver crashes you must restart or your card isn't fully utilized.

I will try 200 core and 0 memory but I doubt it... =/

EDIT: Crashed instantly. My guess is you didn't restart after a crash.

Since the only step-up from a GTX 680 would be the (possible) GTX 690, and nothing else, until the GTX 7xx, series which will not happen until long after the step-up program for these first cards has long passed. Again, is this correct?

If so, then I really hope there are some better looking waterblocks than the ones from EKWaterblocks! I imagined the shape of the available (sold out already) EK blocks in black delrin, and realized they will look quite like a cow flop!

The only available pics of them are with the clear plexi tops and they're already ugly as sin.

I don't know how I managed it, but I missed these cards on Amazon and then bought a pair from EVGA.

It seems as if it should've been the other way around with EVGA selling out first.

It doesn't allow single GPU to dual GPU step up either. I tried from my 580 to 590 and was declined. It has to be a single GPU upgrade from like 570 to 580 as described in previous post.

Has anyone else noticed if your driver crashes, EVGA Precision will remain overclocked but won't go past 1086mhz core, but if you change the OC by one degree it will OC properly?

Put in my order on newegg for the evga one. Can someone tell me if surround needs an active adapter like eyefinity?

My monitors have dvi and hdmi. Would I be able to plug 2 to dvi and the third dvi to hdmi on the card? Thanks.

Yup, I uninstalled it and just went back to afterburner. Does not have the problem.

Many people getting +150 to +200 overclocks aren't realizing this and think their overclock is stable. I went all the way up to +190 and it was stable, until I restarted.. then it wasn't even remotely stable at +140 again. I'm 99.9% my overclock of +135/+500 is stable. +140/+500 is not but it takes about 30 minutes to crash. I think my memory can go to +510, but +515 is not stable after about 20 minutes. I've just set it to +500 because 10mhz means like .01fps on memory...
