Grats. You snagged TOP ones, I'd love to get that, but only OC was in stock. These should be amazing.
If you had a card that does 1300 I would have strongly considered keeping it. Not many can. I guess we will soon find out if the review samples of the DCII were cherry picked cards or they oc that good.

We certainly will, card should be here Tuesday. I'm planning on taking day off Wednesday to comfortably spend full day overclocking. If I'm not happy with results, I'll definitely keep evga. I got asus mainly for its awesome cooler, it should be able to keep same temps while being considerably quieter.

Okay so EVGA is stepping up my 580 3GB for the 680. I have to pay $49.99. Instead should I just step up to the GTX 670 and just pay $9.99 for shipping?

I agree it should definitely cool better. Although I saw someone post a link from the TPU?(I think) review and it hit 75c on load. Not sure what they used to load it but my reference card never hit that.

Depends on is 5%ish performance is worth $50. 670 for 10 bucks sounds pretty sweet!

That's a nice and clean setup 996gt2 (Porsche fan?)
Interesting set up, 996gt2. So you are intaking from the rear, through the CPU cooler, and exhausting through the front? How are the GPU temps? Do you notice the rear pulling in warmer air from the GPU exhaust? Hope you'r enjoying your 680!!

So is there a clear and concise write up now on how to hardware modify the GTX 680 to allow voltage control? Does it involve the EVGA power board?

I have another AP-15 as a side intake mounted in the top rear part of my side panel, which serves as the intake for my 680.

So, the CPU/GPU airflow is relatively separated. I haven't really noticed the CPU cooler intaking hot air from the GPU, since the CPU temps are still quite good. Max GPU temp while overclocked is 68C.

Expecting "at least 1280" for a boost clock and you're delusional. It's possible, and I can run that high with lower tessellation but you are crazy sir.

Lol. My EVGA boosts to 1327Mhz. With 1280 I will be settling for less biggrin.gif
