I can run my cards with +500, but are you sure it's ok to run them with that 24/7? It's a bloody big overclock on the memory.

Obviously any overclock is going to have degradation on the chips shorten life span.

Any stable overclock is good to run 24/7 technically.

To test stability I would test in your most intensive game, benchmark software doesn't really do a good job. It's a gauge but the best stabity is the games truly played in real world values.

I am sad to report that my GIGABYTE GTX 680 fan was VERY noisy upon system start-up, like a noisy whine, and then it just stopped working. Now I am waiting for an RMA approval. I spoke to a rep, and they said they would repair it.

In a way I am glad they will not send me another one as my 680 oc's to 1350MHz, but I was also hoping they send me the Windforce edition.

Has anyone tested the EVGA hi-flow bracket (before/after installing) for temp difference on the 680's? Wondering if it's worth purchasing one...

EDIT-- found it here:

Yes on both a 580 and 680. My findings are the back plate did nothing but protect and looked aesthetically nice in the rig when you gaze at your computers inside.

The hi-flow bracket however brings temp down 1C in idle and during full throttle 2C-3C.

Thanks. I had an EVGA bracket on my old ASUS GTX 480 card and it definitely helped with that card, but it was a much hotter-running card.
