Good idea would be to go to "Profile - Edit system" and list your computer components so we know what your dealing with. Help us help you. wink.gif
A lot of times when your GPU isn't reaching full potential can mean either the games your playing aren't as demanding or the CPU is holding back your GPU's, aka bottle necking performance.

I'll add my rig soon, OCN has been kinda slow for me lately for some reason tongue.gif

It's a 3570K @ 4.5ghz @ 1.3v playing Diablo 3

The clocks will also boost independently, and this shouldn't cause a problem--mine do the same thing. Also, just know that the cards will never completely boost the same, they'll always vary a little bit, but you can get them pretty close. To do this just disable card synchronization in afterburner or precision, and set each card's offset separately, and in such a way that you offset the lower card more than the higher boosting one. Do this until they're even. This will take some simple math, or if you're lazy, just fire up GPU-Z's render test in windowed mode and adjust until the OC software's hardware monitor shows the same boost clocks for each card.

Ah okay, I see. Thanks

Your CPU is not holding you back in that case! lol
Im guessing Diablo 3 isn't going to be a massive game GPU usage wise, unless you are running extreme Res.
If you just want to check your cards will hit 99/100% load just run Heaven for a couple of minutes on max settings im sure your cards will max out then.
I always play with Vsync and on one 680 in some games the GPU only hits about 40% load as thats all it needs to hit those frame rates.

Hey i have a question...
How does amperage work when you sli GTX680's? 1 GTX680 needs a minimum of 38A or higher on the 12V line does that mean that GTX680 sli needs 76A on the 12V line? Or does it still only need 38A?

Hey, anyone tried the new 301.42 drivers? Any improvements?

38A is for the entire system, so no, you don't double it. Nvidia states that the reference board will pull about 16A, but I would add a fair bit more than that to be safe. Say 60A in total, maybe? Depends on how many fans you have, if you are watercooling (pump draws some current), if you run an overclocked CPU etc.

Yeah i figured most of it out now.
I was debating with somebody who was going to SLI, he said he needed a 1200w PSU because it could deliver more amps and that his current PSU wouldn't be able to power thoes cards due to having not enough amps which is 80A....
I found that kind of hard to believe so did some digging. If i'm correct to measure the required amps you devide the needed watts by 12v.

my GTX680 (Gigabyte) is coming in today...
Any requests for benchmarks (No Crysis please, I'm not reinstalling that bloatware again) in regards to my current GTX580 VS GTX680?

That's the weird thing too. In heaven I never hit 100% power target either.
I only hit 115% (what I have it set at) in OCCT.But for some reason OCCT only tests one of my cards (not sure why), so I'm not sure if the behavior will be consistently if it tested both.
