GTX670 DCII non top thumb.gif

My 680DCII on BF3@ 1920x1200 with 4XMSAA + ultra SMAA with injector, all ultra, high quality filtering in drivers forced, and negative lod bias, never goes over 52c, ambient 31c, its very hot here...

But i put fan to 50% manual, and its dead silent! auto fan is for noobs imho thumb.gif

And if you cant find that either, i would get Gigabyte WF, Lightning is amazing, but if you don't overclock i don't see the point.

Get the Lightning, it's the best gtx680 out atm. It will have voltage control in the next release of Afterburner, well almost guranteed at this time.

I still love my Asus directcu 680 though, but it's watercooled.

Get it, i dont think the lightning is worth + 1000 if your not overclocking, the DCII cards generally almost all do around 1300/1300+ thumb.gif

1333-1338MHz are my max stable clocks. My memory is stable at 6800MHz. The block helped get higher memory clocks as the air cooler was just passively cooling the ram chips.

I have the EK block and EK backplate. The backplate acts as a VRM cooler aswell and comes with thermal pads. All in all I'm happy I bought the block. I had to have it watercooled, that's what I'm used to now. So I don't think I wasted my money on it. Looks awesome btw!

Hopefully I can get higher software voltage control with the Afterburner 2.2.3, but won't cry too much If I don't. I have a decent 680 as is!smile.gif

true, but unfortunately for me, my DCII top, maxes at around 1280-1285mhz. Just sharing this info so that people dont expect 1300mhz+ all the time thumb.gif

awesome! indeed it is a decent 680! biggrin.gif what are your temps like? will i be seeing a 20mhz increase aswell when i put mine underwater? Snorkle.gif

will the stock 680 top backplate be just as good with this block? cause im fine with the current backplate as is. wheee.gif

will 2.2.3 unlock our voltage as well? or is it just for lightnings and power editions? that would be fantastic if it will! but i have a feeling it wont.. 680 dc2s have that Asus Hotwire thing

also, i cant seem to click on your pics. frown.gif i can see them, but when i click on the thumbnails, they dont get bigger or anything. i dont know why confused.gif
