use nvflash to save

HOW TO BACKUP ORIGINAL VGA BIOS

# First make bootable Flash Drive and insert(copy) Nvflash files into it

# Restart your system and Set computer to boot from USB Flash Drive in BIOS

# After the system boot from USB Flash Drive

Type "nvflash[space]-b[space]OLDBIOS.ROM
(Eg= a:nvflash -b OLDBIOS.ROM)

# Press enter key

That command will save your original VGA bios on USB Flash Drive as a OLDBIOS.ROM
You can use that copy to flash back to original state if something goes wrong.

# Done. press ctrl+Alt+Del and restart your system into Windows

Be prepared for some heartache if you dont know what your doing. I highly suggest having a spare card if something goes wrong..thumb.gif

Last Bios update I did was for 6950s and that seemed "automatic" compared to this. biggrin.gif

Anyways, I'm following :http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119955

My eVGA SC Signature 2 is a reference board just with a better cooler right? Looking forward to having a little added voltage to this thing.

Now with the extra voltage, does it show up in precision X or msi afterburner, or do they both still say 1.175?

Has anyone checked this with a multimeter? Thought I'd read somewhere it was limited in hardware.
