I know this works because my other card which im returning back to the store is an Asus DCII and I tried this myself and verified that it does work and also increased my overclock by around 40mhz,,,,, however if you break your card in the process I will not be held responsible for the damage. I am only returning my Asus card because I like the Windforce version better and im getting higher overclocks with it.

Thanks bro! thumb.gif but you see I already use this bios and I'm stuck at 1.21 vcore. 1.26 would be swell..

It seems stable to me. What instabilities do you see on yours?

I do agree with you though! We need a good BIOS optimized for the DCII without having to hotwire voltmod! biggrin.gif

Worked fine for me, what kind of problems did you have?

2 users reported stuttering during operation and some other issues, i don't want to risk if its not optimized BIOS for DCII cards.....i'm almost sure someone will get it done with proper voltage control as well thumb.gif

Yeah I saw some of those complaints as well but never experienced those issues during gaming or benchmarking. It could come down to other differences between the various components in our PC's.

I think your best bet is asking the guy who mods the bios's to do one for the Asus DC2 card.

Agree, still i prefer BIOS created especially for this cards.

What improvements you saw other then the voltage unlock? what temps did you get? what oc increase, and did the voltage dropped on idle/light load?

You would think Asus would step up after what MSI did with Afterburner 2.2.3 and LN2 bios

Yeah, thats why someone should ask the guy who does the modding to do one specifically for the Asus DC2. As for the improvements my Asus DC2 went from 1260mhz stable to 1300mhz stable, no stuttering or any other issues to report. Temps were barely even affected at all, maybe 2-3c more and thats it.

I didnt check to see if the voltage dropped while on idle or light load but with my Gigabyte windforce card which I flashed to a modified Gigabye Bios my voltage does drop during idle or low usage as it should. Also I get a constant 1.21vc while gaming and my Gigabyte windforce 680 went from 1310mhz core to 1360mhz core stable after the flash, temps were barely affected at all. thumb.gif
