My GTX 670 is still insufficient at 1080p to give 120 fps in recent games.
I may get GTX 770 if the gap is still the same as is between 670/680, also saving to get a Haswell based system soon. So I might even stick to that 670 and skip the 770. It all depends how the hasewell is going to cost me.

I do not that what happend with the 670 and 680 is gonna happen again... I think the 780 is getting more cuda cores and a higher memory bandwidth.

Although it will be about 10-20% faster then a 680... it will be 15-20% slower then a 780 and not have the added perks.

Nvidia is not gonna make that mistake again...

So what about this GTX 780 stuff? Already making speculations are we? Nvidia released a Gen back after what, March? It's been almost 6 months and it'll be 6 more months before we see anything about a GTX 780 I bet.

Nvidia has never broken that cycle and I doubt they ever will

From where you got those specs mate?
Also if the GTX 770 is only 256-bit I won't get that even if I can.
I learned to not get a 256-bit GPU card EVER, unless the memory is clocked 10,000 MHz then It won't have very big issue.
No more bandwidth limited crap from you Nvidia. The GTX 770 should be 320-bit just like GTX 470 & GTX 570.
15-20% increase that is only your guess. GTX 780 is going to trump it (If it has 384-bit) in bandwidth hungry games such as Metro & Crysis tongue.gif.

Too much talk about the 780's already, they're to far away people. I think my i5 2500 is bottle-necking my sli GTX 680's in some games anyway, my next upgrade will be haswell. Maybe I'll upgrade form the 680's when a game can actually challenges them. I can't see any other game on the way that will (maybe Crysis 3).

1300Mhz core and +500 memory is great/awesome on a gtx680. Yours is below average like meantioned previously.

Golden would be 1400MHz and +600 memory 24/7 on a gtx680-670 imo.

1300mhz is considered golden for the cards that are aren't volt modded or have unlocked voltages already.
